MAYFLY GROUP INSTRUCTED BY AVERY HEALTHCARE GROUP TO ASSIST EXPANSION
Mayfly Group is delighted to announce they are retained by a new client, Avery Healthcare Group. Mayfly Group’s role will be to assist with site acquisition across England and to aid the expansion of the Avery Care Home portfolio, as well as their Independent Living model known as The Hawthorns. Mayfly Group will also assist with design management and the planning process in some instances.
The new venture will see Adrian Doyle, Director of Developments at Avery Healthcare Group, and Philippa Keogh, Director at Mayfly Group, working closely to acquire 8-12 sites a year for development across England. Mayfly Group and Avery Healthcare Group have produced the attached ‘Land Wanted Flyer’ detailing the site criteria requirements.
Philippa Keogh commented “I am delighted to be working with Avery Healthcare who are well respected in the sector and have a strong care home brand along with The Hawthorns, their independent living rental model. Having recently visited several of their new schemes I have been overwhelmed with the quality, detail and bespoke design that has gone into each of them.
Avery Healthcare Group has a strong appetite for sites across England and is seeking to look to accelerate its land acquisition strategy with a strong focus on prominent, high-quality care home sites and larger sites suitable for Hawthorn's opportunities. Avery Healthcare Group have been working on detailed demographic analysis and now have a list of target towns; however, every location is considered on its own merits and detailed demographic and site analysis will be conducted on individual sites. Mayfly Group will predominantly be assisting with acquisitions of off-market opportunities, although on-market opportunities will also be considered. It is an exciting time to be part of Avery’s team and I am looking forward to working closely with the development team and Adrian Doyle, who has so much experience in all aspects of the development process and care sector”.
